Grounded in proven methodologies We call our approach LEAP! (Learning by Exploring & Actively Participating). Grounded in the widely accepted theory of multiple intelligences and the philosophy of constructivism, it challenges students on both academic and cognitive levels. NETC Tour Directors are thoroughly trained to apply these methods in the field. They use constantly varying techniques to accommodate different learning styles and create a comfortable, inclusive environment. Read on about our most popular LEAP! activities: Ancient Rome Live Bring the Roman Forum to life as you walk in the footsteps of the Romans to re-enact events from ancient history as well as those in everyday life. Matador for a Day Perform bull fighting customs, wear a red cape and master basic skills as you explore the roots of the Matador tradition. Then enter the ring for a mock bullfight. Soldiers' Stories Step into the shoes of U.S. servicemen as they land in Normandy on D-Day. Learn about their lives and their experiences to gain personal and historical perspective.
