The National Educational Travel Council (NETC) was incorporated in Massachusetts in 1993 and has since organized highly successful educational tours for hundreds of thousands of teachers and students.  We are a community of educators, travel experts, and international education professionals, committed to providing students with an engaging and enriching, Educational Travel experience that instills a lifelong passion for learning and travel. Educational Integrity

NETC's innovative LEAP! approach was developed with Dr. Barbara LeBlanc, Professor of Drama for Learning, Education, and Ethnology. It incorporates modern teaching theories and strategies being used in the classroom to maximize the learning experiences for students traveling abroad.  LEAP! Explained

Insurance

All participants are covered by ACE American Insurance Company and Worldwide Assist, an international network that provides numerous services, including repatriation, medical referral, medical translation, medical monitoring, and much more. Worry Free Travel Students

Security
 
NETC is a member of OSAC, the U.S. Department of State's Overseas Security Advisory Council. Through this organization we receive non-classified security bulletins to alert us to events that may affect our programs.

Bonding

NETC is approved by, and carries the maximum bond with the Airlines Reporting Corporation and the International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN).
